Hello all,
At first, let me introduce myself : Matthieu Rostac, French journalist based in Amsterdam for independent publishing group So Press. We're notably known in France for editing So Foot, a monthly football magazine mixing football, culture, society and politics in an off-beat tone. In a way, we're applying the same baseline than Hard Gras and Staantribune.
We also have a website where we're trying to follow the same path, SoFoot.com. For this website, and because it's Friesland derby in Eredivisie next Sunday, I'm writing a piece about this very special moment that game between Cambuur and Heerenveen is. It also gives us the occasion to write about the status of Friesland in Netherlands (that we could compare to Bretagne in France, for instance).
That's why I'd like to know if one or few of you would like to contribute to my piece in order to understand better what is this derby, what it means to the Friesland people and what is to be Frisian more generally.
Many thanks for reading me.
Really looking forward to hear from you guys and feel free to ask for further information.
Best,
Matthieu Rostac
