An exiting match in the Champions league is very rare at the moment. I think that's because of the money that can be earnd in this tournament and if you lose a game(with for example Real Madrid or Manchester United) and you're knocked out of the tournament, you lose a lot of money. That's why the teams play very compact and defensive.(ofcourse there are exceptions)
